Yes, it’s true, there is a girl who is allergic to water. I really feel sorry for her, seeing as the body is about 72% water(No it’s not 80%, 8% is a combination of chemical compounds). Even Sweating or doing anything active causes a rash on her skin. 

She suffers from an extremely rare skin disorder called Aquagenic Urticaria - so unusual that only a handful of cases are documented worldwide. I’m glad I don’t have this disorder, and I really feel for her, I couldn’t stand going through life not being able to take a shower, bath, or swim in the ocean with pain and rashes as a result.

WASHINGTON — The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. is taking steps to brace for an increase in failed financial institutions as the nation’s housing and credit markets continue to worsen.

The FDIC is looking to bring back 25 retirees from its division of resolutions and receiverships. Many of these agency veterans likely worked for the FDIC during the late 1980s and early 1990s, when more than 1,000 financial institutions failed amid the savings-and-loan crisis.
